Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, Karatu

During my stay, I thoroughly enjoyed the meals offered at Lake Manyara Serena. The buffet had a variety of options, and I especially appreciated the local Tanzanian cuisine that was well-prepared. It was a pleasant surprise to order from the menu for dinner instead of having a buffet, making it feel more personal and special.

I stayed in one of the Hobbit-like houses that were beautifully integrated into the surroundings. The room was spacious, clean, and wonderfully decorated with wood carvings that gave it a unique charm. The comfort of the huge bed made for a relaxing end to my adventurous days.

The infinity pool at Lake Manyara Serena was a major highlight of my stay. It offered stunning views over the lake and was a perfect place to unwind after a safari day. I loved relaxing on the deck chairs and soaking in the scenic beauty around me!

One of the unique aspects of my stay was the evening entertainment. I was delighted to witness a lively Masai folk dance performance organized by the lodge. It added a special touch to the experience, allowing me to immerse myself in the local culture.
